There’s the saying, ‘there’s nothing new under the sun’, it is true that trends come and go (bell bottom trousers for example) but there are some people who make a mark and are simply inimitable and here is a selection of some of our jewellery icons, all women with distinct personal style… in no particular order Enjoy!

Daphne Guinness

The heir to the Guinness dynasty (yes THAT Guinness everybody drinks), she is a designer, fashionista, model, philanthropist…the list goes on, with a distinct sense of style and a distinct taste in jewellery (haute couture punk is what we like to name it)
Loulou De la Falaise

Loulou was a jewellery and accessories designer who worked with Yves Saint Laurent and counted him as a friend. Although she was referred to as his muse, she disliked it as in her opinion a muse was passive, merely wearing items of fashion whereas she was the opposite, being an actual jewellery designer in her own right.
Nike Davies Okundaye

Nike is an established artist with over 20 years of experience. Known for her use of traditional African batik and paintings she has been credited with reviving the Nigerian art scene with her Art Gallery, the Nike Art Gallery, which has become a must see for art enthusiasts. Her love for art translates into her choice of jewellery, often times colourful and bold.
Elizabeth Taylor

An international movie star and sex symbol who spent all her life in front of the camera, she lived a colourful life with eight marriages, two of which were to screen icon Richard Burton and several relationships which didn’t end up at the altar. Her extensive jewellery collection was as stellar as her on screen performances and very expensive too.
